It's Official!
It has been approved for me to job-share Kindergarten next year! This will allow me to be at home with D part time and to continue making an impact in our future generations! This will be good for me as I work to complete my Specialist - Ed.S. degree! I am excited about working with Kindergarteners, but I am also nervous! Please keep us in your prayers as our lifestyle and ways of living and spending are about to totally change!!! I would love any recommendations or thrifty tips!!! :) It will all be worth it for some extra quality time with Davis!!!

Congratulations! My former pastors wife job shared a classroom and she loved it! Me and Beth are all over the consignment sales. You can find brand new stuff there!!! They are great. I don't think that you will regret the decision, since it allows you to spend more time at home with D!
YAY!!!! Congrats!
You know you can come to me for the "trifty way of life" :-)
You are going to have SOOO much fun spending all of this extra time with Davis. He is such a joy and a trip to be around.
Enjoy!
Wow, that is great! It sounds like the best of both worlds (part-time working mom/part-time stay at home mom) and as with Lori I've always got the goods on penny pinching!
Congrats! I envy you having more time, while working, to spend with Davis.
Congrats!! I went part time after Kade was born and it was a tough adjustment. You will learn to do without some things and then when you look back you think "Wow did I actually spend that much money on...". It will all come together. We actually saved money by me not working so much on gas, eating out for business lunches, work clothes, and other work activities. After Luke was born I was able to quit work and I have been a stay at home mom since Sept 05. Enjoy the extra time with your son. Good Luck!!
Congrats on your job!
Congrats, Amanda. You are so very fortunate to have that opportunity. I'll keep you informed of consignment sales. I think you've made a great move for your family, and good luck as you keep furthering your education.
