A Gorgeous Wedding!

Three weeks back we headed to Florida to celebrate with Tim's family! Our cousin Jessica aka Jess got hitched! It was beautiful, and we had a BLAST! We are planning to return for a Disney Vacation and to visit everyone again in July!!!

Here we are after we arrived at our hotel! The lake out back was BEAUTIFUL! It was so peaceful and quaint! We had just got freshened up to head to Jessica and Rodney's house for the Rehearsal dinner - Florida style! (Yes - probably not the smartest idea to put D in a Georgia outfit in Gator country! Everyone knew who the visitors were!)

The Rehearsal dinner cake -- WAY cool! It was even Red Velvet cake! Just like in Driving Ms. Daisy.
The wedding was GORGEOUS -- it was on Alligator Lake! It was part of a Country Club -- So Jess was smart! They rented a huge souped up as all get outs - tour bus! This way the wedding party could stay cool, and they could watch everyone enter without being seen! Here is the wedding party right before showtime!

Here is Daddy and Davis enjoying the surroundings before the wedding started! Davis wasn't much for staying still or keeping quiet with all the "wa wa" around! He was MORE than ready to dive in. I guess I should be thankful it was just his sippy cup that he managed to get in for a swim as the bride was making her way downt he aisle or shall I say pier! :) Mommy is still learning to pack spares! At least we got some good practice with drinking from real glass glasses at the reception! We only soaked ourself once - so only one wardrobe change was needed! LOL!

May I present to you - Mr. and Mrs. Rodney McDonald!!!

And now let's introduce the other cousins!

Here we see our cousins, and the brothers of the Bride John and Jimmy!

Here are John's two beautiful girls! They are so gorgeous! Abby and Kaylee! Here we see John with his girlfriend, Beth, aka Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom! Can't you tell?

Here is Jimmy at the wedding with his beautiful new wife, Sam!

And last but not least let's don't forget the sis Katie and her handsome little one "big Sexy," Skyler!

Well the reception was as great as everything else, and I have to tell you! Move over Soul Train! Davis is in the HOUSE! I don't think Davis sat down for even 5% of the time we were there! Once the music started, you would find D on the dance flour! He was dancing, moving, and shaking! And did I mention he was "workin' it" with the ladies! Oh yes, it was quite entertaining. He LOVED it. I guess he is taking after his ol' momaroo in this regards! We won't tell him about that dance contest that his momma won at her ol' bachelorette party! Whew!

We teach him right! He had his eyes deadset on the beautiful little flower girl herself! He didn't let her out of his sight, and she partied like a ROCKSTAR with him All Night Long! Back off fellas - I called her first!

Above if you look closely you will see Davis' next favorite thing to do - run between all the bridesmaids! He loved their dresses, and he made it a game to run back and forth between them. He was even there lead in the center a few times! He LOVED the attention! He's not use to that at all - Can you tell???

Congratulations Rodney and Jessica! We are SO happy for you! Thanks for letting us share in most special day of your lives as you began your new life as one! We love you and can't wait to share in your journeys with you!!!

Love, Tim, Amanda, and Davis aka Dancin' D
